12 Strays of Christmas – These Animals Need Your Help, Consider Adopting!

The Montgomery Humane Society is running an awesome promotion for the holidays titled the "12 Strays of Christmas." Each day, for 12 days, they've been highlighting a different animal that's been with them for a long time. A little about each animal is divulged in each caption, and throughout the rest of the day, the Humane Society posts pictures and videos with the animal.

If you are looking to bring a new, furry member into the family, there's never been a better opportunity. Check out the animals which have been revealed so far down below!

Day #1 - "Fancy"

For the first day of 12 Strays of Christmas…

Fancy was brought into the shelter in a small, rusty cage where she was crammed next to her babies. She was thankful for the good folks who took care of her upon arrival, but she longs for a forever home! Don’t let Fancy’s scars fool you: she’s a lover with a heart of gold.

Day #2 - Patty

Patti is a shy cat who was living alone in a neighborhood before she was brought in to the shelter. She’s apparently very shy, but wants to have a family with which she can enjoy Christmas. She enjoys watching people come and go from the sidelines, but one day she’ll get picked up herself.

Day #3 - Jonah

Jonah’s Christmas miracle would be, according to the Humane Society, a big, fenced yard where he can stretch his long legs. He also wants a family that he can grow with, exploring the outdoors and helping you get exercise and lots of smiles.

Day #4 - Febs

Febs was one of twelve puppies that were adopted when she came in with her mother. While most of them found a permanent home, one family brought Febs back! She’s a really nice girl with great manners, so she’s very confused why nobody wanted her.
