2019 Mardi Gras Parade Schedule for Central Alabama

While you can head all the way down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, it'd be a lot easier to just enjoy all of the great parades and attractions we've got coming up right here in Central Alabama.

Millbrook Revelers

The Millbrook Revelers will hold a festival and parade on February 23, 2019. Festival Grounds open at 9:00 a.m. and the parade begins promptly at noon – a fine way to begin our Mardi Gras parade schedule!

Order of Cimarrón

Wetumpka’s annual Mardi Gras celebration is always a fun time, and come rain or shine, this one’s happening! Show up to Gold Star Park on March 2 in downtown Wetumpka at 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. for the parade.

Prattville Mardi Gras

Prattville’s Mardi Gras celebration will be held on February 16. Miscellaneous events such as a car show and inflatables will be available from 11:00 a.m. The parade begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Autaga County Courthouse.

Mardi Gras Annual Cook-off and Block Party in Montgomery

Montgomery offers one of the year’s larger celebrations down on Commerce Street. Show up on February 23 at 12:00 p.m. when the event starts. While there’s no “parade” specifically, you can enjoy other fun activities like a BBQ cook-off and more.

Auburn’s Krewe de Tigris will be setting up for their festivities on March 2. The event begins at 2:00 p.m. Show up for a good time with Auburn’s many, many party-ready folk.

Krewe of Koloose

Men’s society “Krewe of Koloose” will be putting together Dothan’s one and only Mardi Gras festival. They claim to be a Mardi Gras celebration that “has brought the traditional observance of Mardi Gras to Dothan, AL.” The event begins at 2:00 p.m. on March 2.

Maids of Jubilee

The Maids of Jubilee will be putting on a number of events for Fairhope, AL residents, but don’t miss their Mardi Gras parade on March 1. Unlike many of the others on this list, this one will be a nighttime parade beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Gulf Shores Mardi Gras Celebrations (OUT OF TOWN!)

We’re switching gears at this point in the list to look at some places down on the beach you can visit for our Mardi Gras parade schedule.

Orange Beach Mardi Gras Parade

The City of Orange Beach will hold its annual celebration at 2:00 p.m. on March 5. The parade will follow streets through Perdido Beach. This one’s always a good time, and you can enjoy all the awesome that Orange Beach has to offer once it’s over!
