ALDI is releasing an ice cream for your dog

If you’ve ever thought to yourself “My dog needs dessert,” then we’ve got a fix for that first-world problem of yours. Apparently, the corporate bigwigs over at ALDI agree with your sentiment, and so, they’re debuting a brand new treat for your family’s furry friend(s).

The ice cream is branded “Heart to Tail,” and that’s not the cholesterol we’re talking about – that’s because Heart to Tail is gluten-free and has no artificial preservatives. Just in case you were worried about your dog’s allergy to wheat.

Is that even a thing?

Here’s what the box will look like when you hunt it down on June 26. (Source: ALDI/Pinterest)

At any rate, each box comes with four tubs of ice cream. You’ll get two “Original” flavor tubs and two “Cheese & Bac’n” flavor tubs. Don’t ask us what the Original flavor tastes like, because we’ve got no idea. And honestly, we don’t plan on finding out.

That’s all you, champ.

If you’re interested in picking up a package or two, don’t waste time: the new item is an “ALDI Find,” meaning it’ll only be on store shelves for a limited time. Since the time frame varies from product to product, there’s no telling how long you’ll have access.

But what we do know is that the frozen goodies will make their debut on June 26. They’ll cost $3.00 for the four tubs… on second thought, maybe we will try them.

You know. For science.

Delicious and nutritious. (Source: Mikkel Bendix/Pexels)
