Amazon Prime Delivery comes to Whole Foods

Amazon Prime is basically a necessity at this point. The service gives us quick shipping on a variety of goods, comes packaged with a stellar streaming service, and – if Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has his way – Prime Delivery from Whole Foods.

The New Prime Delivery initiative is a part of “Prime Now,” and it’ll be available in more 88 different cities across the United States to start. In Alabama, for instance, you’ll be able to take advantage of this new Prime benefit if you live in Montgomery or Huntsville. By doing so, you can have “ultra-fast” delivery on thousands of Whole Foods Market items in “as little as an hour.”

And for those of you who are curious: yes, this includes select alcohols and boozy beverages… although, this isn’t happening in Alabama just yet. Hopefully, we’ll get this feature one day soon. But for those of you living in North Carolina, California, or Florida, you’re in luck!

“With our goal to cover as many Prime customers as possible with this new service in Montgomery, Ala.,” said Tanvi Patel, Head of Business Development for Prime Now. “Today we’re excited to reach customers from Elmore in the north, past Hope Hull in the south, and from Pintlala Creek in the west to Shorter in the east.”

Delivery from Whole Foods Market is available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. You can head over to Prime Now to learn more.
