Batman returns to the big screen to celebrate 80th anniversary

If there’s one name that goes alongside Wonder Woman and Super Man as immediately recognizable from DC’s armory of comic book characters, it’s certainly Batman. The Caped Crusader has made for some of the best stories in comic and film history! If you were a fan of the 90’s-era run of Batman films, then you’re in luck – all four are returning to theaters in May.

The celebration is being put together by Fathom Events, who has helped facilitate the return of many an awesome film to the silver screen. The specific list of Batman movies you’ll be able to see are as follows:

  1. Batman (1989) – Saturday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00
  2. Batman Returns (1992) – Monday, May 6 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
  3. Batman Forever (1995) – Sunday, May 12 at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  4. Batman & Robin (1997) – Tuesday, May 14 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

All the times listed above are local, so you don’t have to worry about those pesky time zones getting in the way of your fun. The movies will be showing across the United States; click here to find a theater near you!

And get this: if you’re looking to keep it local, there are currently two theaters already offering the promotion in Montgomery…

AMC Festival Plaza 16 – 7925 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, AL 36116

Chantilly 13 – 10477 Chantilly Parkway, Montgomery, AL 36117

You can head over to Fathom Events to buy tickets for any of the showings. Alternatively, why not check out some of the other cool films they’ve got coming up? I’ll probably be getting some tickets for the 15th anniversary of Howl’s Moving Castle
