Five Points Deli and Grill Open in Old Cloverdale

Five Points Deli and Grill offers up classic tastes in a new way for Old Cloverdale.

Cloverdale is one of Montgomery’s most happening spots. And get this – a new restaurant just opened their doors down near the Capri Theatre. The new diner, called “5 Points Deli and Grill,” offers up classic American fare in a space that’s warm and friendly. We went for the opening day, and believe us: the food’s absolutely delicious.

Eric and Whitney Hill opened 5 points on Wednesday after operating Legacy Catering in Prattville for a number of years. They said it has been their dream to own and operate their own restaurant.

“We have a faithful following from Legacy, and can’t wait to serve them here at 5 points Deli and Grill,” said Whitney. “We chose to move our business from Prattville to Cloverdale because we live so close by and felt it was the best thing to do for our family.

Eric and Whitney have two children.

“We live very close to the restaurant and love our neighborhood,” she continued. “It will be a family style deli and grill.”

5 Points Deli and Grill offers “handcrafted” and “unique” burgers, according to Whitney. Their meats are all “preservative-free,” and freshly smoked on-site. In addition, you can enjoy a host of different breads and soups.

There are also pies, puddings, homemade sauces, pickles, and more – there’s a lot to try, so you’re better off making a first trip sooner rather than later.

“We have received great support from our community and we look forward to continuing to grow here in Old Cloverdale,” Whitney said.
