Hot Diggity Dog Open in Millbrook, Build-Your-Own Hot Dogs!

Come and try one of the many varieties of hot dog available at Hot Diggity Dogs, which just opened in Millbrook.

While we might have differences of opinion elsewhere, there’s likely one thing upon which we can all agree: hot dogs are a true American past time. They’re a mainstay at sporting events, are a staple of backyard cookouts, and remain a time-honored snack for starving college students. If you like hot dogs as much as we do, then you’re in luck: there’s a delicious, new spot that just opened in Millbrook, Alabama. It’s called “Hot Diggity Dog,” and they’ve got a ton of great varieties of hot dog for you and yours to sample.

Hot Diggity Dog sells beef hot dogs, which taste a tad different from your average pork offering. We found the taste to be a bit better, but we’ll leave that conclusion to you. There is pretty much any available topping available, as well. You can get mustard, sauerkraut, onions, cheese, jalapenos, and more – seriously, we only scratched the surface with that list. All of this is a part of their “build-your-own-dog” special, which gives you complete customization over your food.

For those of you who just want one of the normal menu items, they’ve got you covered on that front, as well. There’s a large menu with an assortment of great options available for the less imaginative among us.

Past all that, the place just oozes good vibes. It’s colorful, has some fun signage on the walls, and the staff makes you feel at home. We carried on a fun conversation with the staff while we were eating, which was great. And just because Hot Diggity Dog is a specialty shop doesn’t mean the prices are steep – my entire meal was just under $3.00, making it one of the most affordable I’ve had in some time.
