Starbucks’ Cadbury Creme Egg Frappuccino is making waves again

If there’s one thing that’s become synonymous with Easter, it’s eggs! And if you delve into the pantheon of egg-inspired celebration, you’ll find that Cadbury Creme Eggs comprise a large part of the fun. The savory center of this treat is a time-honored favorite this time of year. With spring jumping into high gear, one of Starbucks’ drinks is starting to make waves again: the Cadbury Creme Egg Frappuccino.

The drink is an option on the Starbucks menu year-round, but for all the reasons we’ve listed above, it gets a little more attention in the spring. Fans of the drink say it tastes just like a liquefied version of the Cadbury Creme Egg. We’re not particularly surprised, though, because the creation is super sugary.

To order the Cadbury Creme Egg Frappuccino, you’ve got to jump through a couple extra hoops. It’s on the not-so-secret secret Starbucks menu. Lucky for you and I, all you’ve got to know is the recipe, and you can order it pretty easily. If you’re a little unsure, then just follow this handy-dandy guide:

  1. First, begin by ordering a Java Chip Frappuccino
  2. Then, you’ll want to ask for an extra shot of vanilla and caramel syrup
  3. Have them add two generous scoops of vanilla bean powder

And there you have it! That’s the infamous Cadbury Creme Egg Frappuccino that you’ve been hearing so much about.
