The Jonas Brothers are coming to Alabama

The Jonas Brothers are an act that are in many ways synonymous with my youth. They were stars on the Disney Channel in a pretty much non-stop way, and I’d be lying if I said they didn’t have a couple of good bops. So, yes: while not my favorite, this is me admitting that The Jonas Brothers are alright. But for many, the band is an integral piece of the cultural lexicon. For those of you who have fostered such an appreciation, we’ve got good news… Kevin, Joe, and Nick are all headed to Birmingham later this year.

Specifically, the trio will be taking over Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham on November 13. This is part of the band’s “Happiness Begins” tour, which is one of the biggest they’ve ever been on. The tour begins on Aug. 7 in Miama, FL and will last until Feb. 22, when they’ll take the stage in Paris, France.

I mean, what better place to end the tour, right?

Joining the tour will be special guests Bebe Rexha and Jordan McGraw.

If you’re wanting to grab tickets, don’t worry: they don’t even go on sale until June 14 at 10:00 a.m. But you’ll want to be right on time through Ticketmaster, as this one is sure to sell out quick.

If you aren’t familiar with The Jonas Brothers, then let us enlighten you. Here’s their 2008 hit ‘Burnin’ Up.’ It’s a good song to personify this beautiful Alabama weather:
