The Sound of Music at ASF

The Alabama Shakespeare Festival will be showing their rendition of The Sound of Music from November 15 until December 30. The show clocks in at about 2 and a half hours with intermission, and tickets start at around $28.00. Bring the little ones out and introduce them to this timeless classic!

Autaga County will be celebrating 200 years of existence on Saturday! There’ll be cake, a concert, and celebration for everyone. Attendance is free, and the event takes place behind Prattville’s City Hall at the Creekwalk. Friends, family, beautiful fall weather, and delicious cake? What do you have to lose?

TASTE is one of Montgomery’s most popular fine dining establishments. This weekend, they’re offering a wine tasting featuring some of the season’s newest refreshments. Drink and be merry with the Hampstead community on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00, or just show up for some great food!

Not one, but two artist markets will be taking place this weekend. The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts and Wetumpka’s Kelly Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery are both offering visitors the opportunity to pick up some stellar community creations. Both begin at 10:00 am Saturday and persist into the afternoon.
