■ How to apply for city gas discount
There is a discount system for city gas rates for social consideration recipients.
The applicable targets are those set forth in the ‘City Gas Rate Reduction Guidelines’ of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
For household heating and cooking combined rate discounts
Social consideration includes the disabled, basic livelihood recipients, national merit, May 18 merit, independence meritorious persons, and bereaved families.
This also applies to the second-upper class and households with multiple children.
The discount amount is discounted for each target person from a maximum of 24,000 won to a minimum of 6,000 won during the winter season (December to March).
During the rest of the period, except for the winter season, discounts range from a maximum of 6,600 won to a minimum of 1,650 won.

A minimum of 420 won is discounted from a maximum of 1680 won.
