Mahi Mike’s in Prattville is closed

Mahi Mike's is a new seafood restaurant in Prattville offering up stellar eats at good prices.

Earlier this year, we reported that Mahi Mike’s opened in Prattville. The location replaced what was The Wharf, a popular seafood chain. We were pretty amped about their opening, but unfortunately, we are sad to tell you that they’ve closed up shop as of last week; the video up above was the one we used to announce their opening.

A post to popular Facebook Group “Lunch in the Gump” broke the news. You can see that below, or follow this link if you’re a member.

The post was answered with a picture someone had taken of the door at Mahi Mike’s. (Source: Facebook)

If you’re finding that note a little hard to read, no worries – we’ve got your back.

“We would like to thank all of our patrons for your support,” the message reads. “Unfortunately, we have had to close permanently. Thanks again for sharing our venture. We appreciate it!”

So, there’s not a whole lot of sugar on top of that not-so-savory piece of news. But I guess it’s better to rip the Band-Aid off, right?

Needless to say, we’re a little broken up that another Central Alabama restaurant has gone under. That being said, we’ve received far more than we’ve lost in recent years. Let’s just be thankful for what we’ve got!
