A weeks week back, we wrote that the Impossible Burger would be coming to Montgomery – specifically, we mentioned that Burger King would be introducing a new Whopper featuring the meatless patty. While some have responded to the news with a grimace, others have welcomed the new, vegetarian option with open arms. We’ve done some research and located four different spots across Montgomery where you can get a taste of the Impossible Burger.

Currently, these are the places we know are offering the food:
- Firebirds Wood Fired Grill – 7078 Eastchase Pkwy, Montgomery, AL 36117
- Red Robin – 7005 Eastchase Pkwy, Montgomery, AL 36117
- Chappy’s Deli – Various locations
- Burger King – Various locations
The meat is made with plant-based proteins and is cooked alongside traditional burgers. You can ask for the burger to be cooked on a separate griddle, so for those of you who are trying to keep it 100 percent vegan, there won’t be any cross-contamination.
Beyond Meat – the company who is behind the meatless patty – got its start in 2009. They’ve been working with various fast food chains and restaurants to try and make the Impossible Burger a reality across America.
