Woodcraft Cafe now open in Wetumpka

And they're serving delicious breakfast for you and yours.

Good breakfast spots are hard to find, and when you do, it’s important to remember them. Well, it’s day one over at a new restaurant in Wetumpka, and we’re here to point you in the right direction. Woodcraft Cafe has just opened up their doors to the public, and we’re giving you the inside scoop.

Read on to find out more, or check out the video up above for a look at the new restaurant.

Woodcraft Cafe sits in a re-purposed gas station up in the outskirts of Wetumpka, near Walsboro. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much. It’s got some simple signage, a glass front, and a nondescript parking lot. But the magic starts once you walk inside!

Once you’re in, the whole experience changes. There’s a lounge area for you to sit in and watch the news, a buffet full of options, and a menu with more traditional choices. That menu’s packed to the brim with traditional favorites and fun takes on classic dishes. Prices vary, but the main breakfast platter will run you around $8.99; lunch is a bit cheaper, clocking in around $7.99 for the basic dish.

Needless to say, Woodcraft Cafe is a wonderful addition to the Wetumpka-Walsboro infrastructure. It joins the area’s redevelopment alongside businesses like The Coosa Cleaver, which opened at the beginning of the year. Jojo’s Frozen Yogurt & Mini Golf opened late last year, as well.
